Arriving at Sultan Hassanudin Airport, we will travel to Toraja for 8 hours passing through beautiful scenery. During the trip there are several places to stop for lunch in Pare-pare and enjoy a cup of coffee with a beautiful view of Mount Buntu Kabobong. In the afternoon we will arrive in Tana Toraja to the Hotel to rest.
In the morning, after breakfast we will go to the white water rafting location for 2 hours while enjoying the extraordinary natural beauty. Our journey will pass through local villages to get to the river. We will stay overnight to rest in a Toraja resident’s house which is located close to the river.
In the morning, the tour guide will prepare breakfast and after that we will start with adventure rafting. A professional tour guide will guide and accompany you during the white water rafting and has been provided with good quality equipment to ensure safety during the white water rafting. Lunch will be provided during the activity and will return to the residents’ homes in the afternoon to rest and have dinner.
After breakfast, we will continue rafting class 4 and 5 again. After completing the white water rafting, lunch is available on the river bank. Next we will return to the Hotel for dinner and rest.
In the morning after breakfast we will go to several unique tourist attractions in Toraja. The first tour is Lemo. Lemo is an ancient cemetery located on a rock cliff with beautiful views of rice fields. Next, the second tour is Suaya which is in Sanggala. Suaya is a stone burrow burial for nobles that has existed for more than 100 years. Next, we will continue our journey by seeing a giant tree which is used as a burial place for newborn babies who died before the baby had teeth, located in Kambira. After lunch, we will go to the next tourist spot, namely Kete’Kesu. Kete’kesu is a tourist village that produces world-renowned Toraja sculptures, carvings and paintings. After that we will return to the hotel in the afternoon for dinner and rest.
In the morning, after breakfast we will make the initial journey to the Bori’ tourist attraction which is home to a menhir embedded in the ground in an upright position. Next, travel through Lempo enjoying the stunning views to Mentirotiku Batutumonga. After lunch, we will continue our journey to Loko Mata to see a unique natural cemetery made of stone carved at an altitude of 1,400 meters above sea level. In the afternoon, we will return to the Hotel for dinner and rest.
The last day, after breakfast we will continue our journey to Makassar City. We will stop in Pare-pare City for lunch. Upon arrival in Makassar City, we will head to the airport for your next destination.
